In 2012, Jason founded and grew MacGregor Partners into a global supply chain technology firm that transformed the fulfillment, technology, and automation landscapes of the world’s largest brands. After a decade of rapid growth and innovation, MacGregor Partners was acquired by Accenture on September 1st, 2022.

Since 2014, Ziegler Capital has actively invested in pre-seed and Series A rounds for companies within the supply chain, technology, automation, and residential/commercial real estate space.

Supply Chain

Jason’s career has been focused on supply chain technology, spanning multiple industries, roles, and domains. Over that time, he’s honed a pragmatic perspective on supply chain technology selection, implementation, and value creation. A perspective rooted in the value of a connected and interoperable technology landscape in successful, innovative, and resilient supply chains – gleaned from experience inside world class 3PLs, manufacturers, and supply chain software firms. He routinely counsels startups and investors on market trends and dynamics in the supply chain technology space.

Technology

A technologist at heart, Jason spent time at RedPrairie (now Blue Yonder) developing and delivering world class supply chain software, before reimagining the driver experience at warehouses and manufacturing facilities with MacGregor’s SaaS offering, M.Folio. This intellectual property shifted the industry away from face-to-face, paper-based interactions between drivers and facility staff to a digital, streamlined, and self-sufficient reality. Jason’s perspective on bringing paradigm shifting solutions or technology to market provides significant value to start-ups looking for aggressive growth and market capture.

Real Estate

Ziegler Capital’s portfolio includes both commercial and residential real estate in the greater Raleigh area and North Carolina region. An avid alpine skier, Jason continues to look for opportunities in Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Park City, Aspen, and other resort towns.

Jason guided MacGregor Partners from two people in a bar (The MacGregor Draft House in Cary, NC) to a global enterprise employing 130+ people in a 10-year span. Privately held and without outside investment, MacGregor Partners was acquired by Accenture in 2022.
